Flabob Airport

A painting I created during our plein air paintout in the Inland Empire, 2010.... Then just last week there was an article in our local paper about the sculptor who created Pegasus for the airport!

Pros: Highly Adjustable, Easy To Transport, Durable Construction

Cons: Bag Provided

Best Uses: Outdoor Painting

Describe Yourself: Value Oriented

Primary use: Personal

I plein air paint. This umbrella is EASY to use and STABLE. Though under certain conditions the umbrella may require adjusting, aggressive windy conditions and/or soggy soil, for the most part, it is easy to adjust and remains as placed. To adjust for moving light (sun's changing path) or because of wind gusts this has been much easier to adjust when needed than other umbrellas I have owned. It is free standing which gives much more range of use than those that attach to the easel as well as more safety for your easel. (No fear of it tipping the works to the ground). Love my Shadebuddy!

This pastel portrait of Vivian was completed one morning. Thank goodness she was very patient. I did not have much experience at doing live portraits at the time, so I was slow.

Maureen

I did this portrait of Maureen one afternoon (live) in pastels.
